Tot Shabbat and Holidays

Tot Shabbat

The children celebrate Shabbat each Friday morning with teachers and friends. Families celebrate Tot Shabbat together with their children on select Friday evenings throughout the school year. The service is geared towards families with pre-readers (up to age 5) who wish to come and capture that special Shabbat feeling! Led by our extraordinary rabbis and cantorial soloist, services are filled with singing, dancing, praying and story-telling, followed by a delicious Oneg treat.

Join us for a delicious Pizza Dinner before Tot Shabbat - Pizza Dinner at 6:00 pm, Tot Shabbat Service at 6:30 pm. Tot Shabbat is opened to the public and all are welcome, but registration is required. Shabbat Shalom!

Holidays

The children celebrate holidays in their classrooms throughout the year.  Families are invited to join the celebration on certain holidays, including a Passover seder and a Sukkah experience. On Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, there are several options for young children to experience the High Holy Days, including our Young Children's Service (no fee and open to the public, but registration is required), and the Tot and Youth Program for children to attend while their families are attending Congregational Worship (no fee for children, but registration is required.) Temple membership is included with Early Learning Center tuition. We welcome and encourage our Early Learning Center parents and their children to attend all holiday and Shabbat services at Temple Beth El.
